Social Impact Coordinator – Research

Compensation Package: $50,000-$60,000 base salary plus bonuses; unlimited PTO with end-of-year closures and paid holidays; excellent and comprehensive benefits package
Location: Remote (within USA) with East Coast working hours. The team meets in person 3-4 times a year, with the potential for client-related travel.
Schedule & Role Type: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm EST (Full-Time, Exempt)

About the Position
The Social Impact Coordinator - Research provides project management and support across the team, with a focus on the coordination of qualitative and quantitative research activities. This role will work closely with our VP of Research and Impact to drive project timelines, coordinate with research partners, and deliver actionable insights. A successful candidate is highly organized, has an aptitude for fast paced work, enjoys becoming immersed in content, works strategically, and can work with others to move big ideas into fully realized products.
Responsibilities
Project Management & Team Support
- Provide project management support (internally and externally) for client projects, keeping team members on track in an organized and efficient manner.
- Coordinate research activities, support qualitative and quantitative research processes, and liaise with team members to keep projects on track.
- Maintain an organized project management system (Basecamp), including team communication, agenda preparation, tracking projects, and providing back-up support when appropriate.
- Manage efficient day-to-day operations, identifying tasks that need team attention versus independent handling.
- Coordinate scheduling, travel, and logistics as needed.
Research Coordination
- Support qualitative and quantitative research activities that inform marketing and communications, campaign, and philanthropic strategies.
- Create research timelines, liaise with partners for project bids, and communicate updates to project stakeholders.
- Appropriately utilize qualitative and quantitative research approaches and methodologies, instruments, and task sequencing for insights gathering and mapping to project goals.
- Draft and proof research protocols, analyze data, and ensure insights align with broader project deliverables.
Relationship Management
- Develop and contribute to strong, trusting relationships with clients and partners across subject matters and disciplines.
- Anticipate client and team needs throughout project phases, providing high-quality support to team members and clients.
- Professionally represent the firm, exercising discretion and confidentiality with both clients and donors.
Brand and Campaign Strategy Implementation
- Collaborate with and support project team on campaigns (philanthropic and communications)
- Duties will include: Team member support, content development, analyzing existing research and content, summarizing, and contributing to preliminary strategic analysis
Content Development and Strategic Writing
Draft and edit materials for presentations, research summaries, and strategic content, working with the team collaboratively to create high-quality communications (think: presentations, positioning documents, research summaries, messaging materials, web copy and social media content).
Ownership Over Quality Control
- Edit, proofread, fact-check and coordinate production of a variety of fundraising and communications materials.
- Ensure all deliverables are accurate, polished, and aligned with project-specific style—maintaining clarity, consistency in tone, and correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

What You’ll Need
- 2-4 years of professional experience
- We are background agnostic and are excited by candidates with unique and different work histories, ideally with some time spent consulting.
- Experience on the client or supplier side of qualitative and quantitative research.
- Ability to implement complex projects. You’re a confident project manager, leading and executing a portfolio of interconnected projects with close attention to detail across multiple stakeholders.
- A learning mindset. You desire continuous improvement, have an innate sense of curiosity, and are grounded by a foundation of self-awareness that provides space for learning and growth.
- Demonstrate understanding of qualitative and quantitative research approaches and methodologies, instruments, and task sequencing for insights gathering and mapping to broader project goals.
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus.
