The Resident Support Coordinator (Case Manager) will provide case management and support services to survivors of domestic violence living long-term in our subsidized housing. This role involves a focus on individuals and families with disabilities, ensuring they receive the necessary assistance to live independently and thrive.

This role provides:
Salary range is $57,000-$59,000
Additional compensation for fluency in Spanish

Ongoing professional and clinical supervision, with opportunities to participate in education and training regularly throughout the year
You will be supervised by a Director who is flexible, communicative, responsive, caring, and does not micro-manage. Above all, you will provide life-changing support to survivors of domestic violence.
Provide timely case management and coordination of services that are effective, equitable, and client-centered to 12 survivors’ households in their apartments or at the main office
Apply for a range of benefits including SSI, SSDI, SNAP and Health Insurance
Connect survivors to resources, and make referrals as needed for counseling, medical and economic resources
Conduct screening interviews, intakes, and annual assessments of needs
Support survivors with ongoing life needs, goal planning, and engagement in skill-building programs to overcome trauma and regain independence
Accompany clients to various appointments not limited to medical, court, housing, legal and provide support centered on their needs and comfortability
Identify and address barriers, such as the loss of essential documents, CORI, arrears and credit
Work alongside the Child and Family Services Team to support family needs, and work closely with the Survivor Resource Coordinator to navigate resources and empowerment supports
Work collaboratively across all teams to center and support the needs of survivors
Facilitate and maintain relationships with property management companies and landlords, communicate maintenance requests, and client concerns
Arrange interpretation assistance as needed and maintain confidential records in a secure database
Participate in weekly programmatic supervision, clinical supervision, agency, and cross-agency meetings
Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is required; fluency in Spanish is highly desirable
A degree in Social Work (or Mental Health) is highly preferred
Extensive knowledge about applying for SSI/SSDI benefits and/or SOAR certification
3-5+ years of direct service experience working with marginalized populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness, mental illness, substance use, or domestic violence
Self-motivation, cultural humility, respect for diversity, belief in client autonomy, and the ability to work collaboratively with others
High level of proficiency with the Internet, Google Suite, ZOOM, and Microsoft Office Suite
Expertise in providing safety-planning support and trauma-informed advocacy
Ability to develop and sustain collaborations with colleagues and providers from multiple external community organizations
Ability to balance competing priorities efficiently and maintain client trust
Ability to climb stairs frequently and regularly lift and move 30 pounds to assist guests in moving in and out of apartments
